ICC Rankings : India Lose No. 1 Test spot , Pakistan dethroned as No.1 T20I side

India have lost the No.1 spot test spot for the first time since October 2016 and have now been pushed to the third position in the ICC rankings.

There are three most important points:

  • India now behind third place Australia and New Zealand in Test rankings
  • Pakistan loses No.1 T20I to Australia
  • India has retained its second position in the ICC Odi rankings right now

According to the latest International Cricket Council ICC rankings , India is not the number one test team

according to the recently released numbers released on Friday. Because Australia became No.1 table toppers in the longest format of the game .

India has now come third in the ICC Test rankings. In which Australia is first ranked and New Zealand has moved to second place.

India still top of the ICC World Test Championship table with the highest number of points

It should be noted that the last international assignment of India had a series of tests in New Zealand in which they were defeated 2-0.

It was India’s first major overseas task for 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic stopped the world of sports.

Australia ranks first in the T20I for the first time in history

Meanwhile, Pakistan were kept apart from the ICC T20I rankings with Australia as new leaders.

Australia (278) topped for the first time since presenting the T20 rankings in 2011. Pakistan, which had overtaken New Zealand to reach the top spot in january 2018 and then spent 27 months there , are now in fourth place with 260 points.

England have moved up to second place with 268 points while India has moved up one place to third, just two points behind.

Afghanistan ranks seventh to 10th , while Bulgaria is the biggest beneficiary, with 84 countries from teams playing the required six matches in the last three tears. 12th in the list at 51th position.

At present , India has retained its second position in the ICC ODI rankings. He is behind World Cup winners England. Who raised their big 6 to 8 rating points
